The studio
Amara Scribe provides a digital web platform and tools for writing, editing, and structuring text. We reserve the right to update, modify, or discontinue specific platform features. Current tier details and feature limits are maintained on the pricing page.
Accounts
You must maintain a valid, verified email address to use the service. You are solely responsible for safeguarding your credentials and for all activity occurring under your account. Account sharing is prohibited. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts exhibiting suspicious automated activity, abuse, or terms violations.
Your work
You retain rights to your submitted materials and the resulting generated content to the extent permitted by applicable law. You grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to host, process, and display your content solely as necessary to operate and deliver the service. We do not claim copyright in your work.
Acceptable use
You agree not to use the platform for unlawful purposes, spam, malicious code, or content that infringes upon the rights of others. You may not attempt unauthorized access, reverse engineering, decompilation, infrastructure probing, automated scraping, bypassing security controls, or interfering with platform stability. You must not upload personal data of third parties without proper legal authorization.
Generated content
Automated outputs may contain inaccuracies, inconsistencies, or unintended similarities. You are solely responsible for reviewing and verifying all generated materials prior to publication, reliance, or commercial use. Amara Scribe does not guarantee uniqueness, factual accuracy, or fitness for a particular purpose — including academic submission or legal documents.
Subscriptions and tokens
Paid plans renew automatically on a monthly or annual basis via Paddle until cancelled. Plan allowances are allocated for the current billing cycle and do not roll over or transfer. Additional top-up packages remain available until consumed. Trial or promotional access may be subject to restrictions. Prices on /pricing include the plan's token grant. Tax included.
Paddle as merchant of record
You contract with Paddle, trading as Amara Scribe, for use of the studio. Paid plans and Reserve token top-ups are processed by Paddle.com Market Ltd as merchant of record. Payment, tax, billing frequency, renewal, invoices, and cancellation of those checkouts follow Paddle's Checkout Buyer Terms: https://www.paddle.com/legal/checkout-buyer-terms

Disclaimer
The studio is provided as-is. To the fullest extent allowed by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
Liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, Amara Scribe is not liable for lost profits, lost manuscripts stored only on your side, or indirect damages. Our total liability for a claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us for the studio in the three months before the claim.
Changes
We may update these terms. The date on this page is the current version. If you continue to use the studio after an update, you accept the new terms. If you do not, stop using the service and cancel in billing.
